Dr. William Randall Kakish

After waiting to check in i waited again in the waiting room for about 15-20 min then theycalled me back to the front desk and told me I had to reschedule because of their 20 min late rule.  I admitied I was late but was only 10 min at most.  Mrs Moore the front desk person said "well it could have been 10 to 15 min but there is nothing she could do and I had to reschedule,  that's the rule".  Wow it only gets better from here.  I asked to speak to the office manager, she first refused but I insisted and the office manager came to the front desk,  I explained to her my situation and that I had to take off work for this appt. she told me that the office has this policy that if the patient is 10 min late then the appt has to be rescheduled.  I got confused.  I told her Mrs Moore just told me 20 min and now she told me 10 min.  The office manager Pam Kuhlman then said she would talk to the Dr to see if he would make an exception.  I waited for at least another 30 min.  she… finally came out telling me that the dr would not make an exception even with her advising him that I was about 10 min late.  I turned to Mrs Moore reconfirming of her 20 min rule right in front Mrs Kuhlman, Mrs Moore confirmed that is what she was told.  I turned to Mrs Kuhlman and asked so which rule is actually their policy,  and Mrs Kuhlman turned to Mrs Moore trying to correct her, but Mrs Moore kept repeating that the dr told her 20 min.   After a few secs they stopped arguing with each other and told me I still had to reschedule.   I left the office speechless  and couldn't believe what had just happened.   For sure the office has a rule of reschedulING patients who are running late, but nobody from the office seems to know or agree of what the rule is.  I'm absolutely going to seek legal action on this.   This is just way too wrong

Did not show up for my colonoscopy procedure at Mercy .

Dr. Kakish spends a whole lot of time with patients. He does not book too many patients at one time so he can have more time with his patients. Therefore, getting an appointment with him is difficult sometimes.
