Dr. William Steele Kanich, MD

Doctor Kanich is the worst doctor I have ever been to. I have never been treated so poorly at a hospital. he was trying to get me out of the emergency room before he even checked all of the xrays. I had bad injuries to my shoulder and knee and ankle and clearly couldn't walk and wasn't offered any kind of help leaving the hospital I had to ask for a crutch and he admitted that if I hadn't asked for it he would not have given it to me I had to roll out of the hospital on an office chair

Excellent ER doctor, though thankfully, my sample size is relatively small. I would rather have just had him as my personal doctor, as his bedside manner and knowledge exceeded my expectations.

Dr Kanich is a wonderful doctor who saved my teenage daughter, who was car surfing and landed on the pavement. I will never be able to thank Dr. Kanich enough. If not for him, my daughter would no longer be here. Who knows how many lives he has saved in his years as an emergency doctor? The St Francis nursing staff was wonderful too. If I or my family ever have another REAL emergency, I hope and pray Dr. Kanich and the St Francis ER nurses are close by. Dr. Kanich is wonderful. After he saved my daughter and she was upstairs in St Francis, he even came to visit her and see how she was doing. He cares about his patients.

I am left paying for a HUGE hospital bill for nothing! I came in with a spinal headache after a cortisone shot gone wrong- this doctor ROLLED HIS EYES at me when I told him I thought it was a spinal headache- released me after hours of giving anti nausea meds via IV (what?!) with discharge papers saying "unexplained headache" and a referral to a neuro dr...who told me it WAS A SPINAL headache after all and that a simple blood patch would have taken care of it. Its pretty scary that a doctor in the ER couldn't treat something this easy! What a huge waste of $4k!!! I will say that the nurses were WONDERFUL and far more knowledgeable than the doctor .
