Dr. William Kapfer

Will Kapfer is a Resident in Counseling practicing in the Commonwealth of Virginia who has 4-plus years of experience working with children, families, and adults seeking help with anxiety, trauma, depression, substance use, adjustment issues, grief/loss, and psychoeducation. He enjoys equipping individuals with various skills to support them in living healthy and empowered lives. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Counseling at the University of South Carolina and received his Master’s degree in counseling from Marymount University.Will uses several therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solutions-focused methods, and person-centered approaches. He always matches his therapeutic approaches according to each individual client and works to develop a treatment plan according to the unique individual.
