Dr. William Uykeson Khieu, MD

Dr. Khieu is my sisters doctor and does not work in Soledad. His offices are in Salinas and Monterey. He provides excellent jeslth care and works on pteventative and holestic medicine. Our family likes Athena Medicine.

I have been a patient of Dr. Khieu’s for many years now. He has assisted me with many issues associated with my complex health. He’s always very attentive, gets me the specialists that I need, and shows genuine care and compassion. When I visit Dr. Khieu I always feel seen and heard. He is always very thorough with his check ins. I will be seeing Dr. Khieu for many years to come.

I highly recommend Dr. Khieu.. The staff is great as they are kind and considerate to my disability needs. Dr. khieu is always on time and he always spends 8-10 minutes with me that is diercectly focused on my needs. I have many health care needs and he always remembers each problem I have and treatment in detail. He has a fun and energetic personality that always makes me happier than when I arrived. Dr. Khieu treats the main cause of my problem and does not turn to medication or surgery as the first option of treatment- which I am happy about. I have progressed so much under his care and I am absolutely healthier now than ever before. He really cares and it shows. He is kind patient and compassionate. I am so happy he is my doctor!

Today my older sister took my mother (64) to see Dr. KHIEU. My mother has been experiencing severe depressive symptoms and has suffered major deaths ( her grandson and her husband a couple months a part) in our family. Dr . KHIEU stated to my sister that he thought my mother was homeless, which would have alerted most doctors that this patient is in serious need of services of some kind. Nope, not Dr. Khieu, he just prescribed her drugs and told my mother she needed to move on. When my sister asked for referrals to see a neurologist and psychiatrist Dr. KHIEU said she could take my mother to Natividad. No referrals, nothing. Just an attitude that conveyed I don’t care about this patient or what this patient is experiencing. Just get out of my office.

I felt very confident that he got methe best of everyone at the hospital including the proper medicine. He followed up the next day. He let me know where the incisions would be and what not to do after surgery. Surgery schedule time changed by no fault of dr. Kheiu but he did a great job. Recovering now with no apparent problems. I have a follow up appt in a week which was taken care pre op.

Very knowledgeable and he won my trust easily

I had a laparoscopic assisted partial hysterectomy and Dr. K only made 3 teeny holes! Recovery was WAY easier than I was expecting. I love that Dr. K took the time to answer all my 20 questions and he liked that I was thorough in my research beforehand. The surgery went perfectly and I was so happy I chose him as my surgeon!

Dr. Ludlow and Dr. Khieu staff are horrible. They are incompetent. They do not follow up on appointments, medications.. Absolutely horrible staff. Dr. Ludlow forgot to provide me with the proper paperwork for blood work and her staff never followed up on an important appointment. Dr. Khieu is direct, but I don't mind that at all. His staff, though, is mediorce at best.

Misdiagnosed my serious problem with blood pressure during pregnancy. Stay away. Also. Not kind! Stay away.
