Dr. William Creffield Klindt, MD

I got hospitalized and he cut off contact with me. While I was in contact with him he was very bare bones. I told him the symptoms and he prescribed the meds. And he wasn't even good at that. I was 16 when I started seeing him and he prescribed me Celexa, an SSRI not intended for adolescents. Nothing indicated that he cared. The general feeling I got from him was apathy, disinterest, and boredom. Awful human being. He should not be responsible for so many vulnerable people.

Dr. Klindt always spends alot of time with me, has referred me to get a sleep study, genetic testing, and looks at my nutrition/lifestyle. He is always calm and understanding. He moved offices for a brief time, but current staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Dr. Klindt is good at writing prescriptions but has nothing to offer in terms of helpful advice. His staff has even told me that he does not offer any counseling and you need to go to somewhere else for that. This is your guy if you want a prescription from someone who takes no responsibility for writing it (you will find him completely inaccessible for advice and late on a Friday will assure you that they will call back on Monday with the name of a counselor you can go to). The problems with his staff are many but the bigger problem is that he just doesn't care about his patients.

I found Dr. Klindt's staff to be consistently presumptive and aggressive. They virtually never answer his phone. Appointments are demanded more often than necessary, without always considering the patient's frequency needs. Dr. Klindt is a kind and caring man, but, in my long experience with him, there is no therapy involved. He is a medical guy. He prescribes medicine. he is not a psychologist. I have left him because of staff rudeness in executing practice policies that seem to me to be most primarily revenue driven.

Excellent psychiatrist. Compassionate, knowledgeable, and open to listening to patient's concerns.

I have been seeing Dr Klindt periodically for a couple of years. He is very knowledgeable, understanding and caring. Highly recommended.
