Dr. William Charles Lamb, MD

While being intubated, Dr. Lamb broke a tooth and crown completely off at the gum line. I can't imagine the force it must have taken to break like that, but when I woke up from surgery I immediately noticed it. They acted surprised, told me to look for it in the bed, and then quickly sent me home. I assumed I had swallowed it, but 24 hours later, I fortunately coughed it up from deep down in my trachea (it felt like it was in the middle of my lungs). This could have easily blocked my airway or caused life-threatening lacerations or infection. That was six weeks ago, and I have tried repeatedly to get in touch with the practice manager, with no response. I have also reached out numerous times to US Anesthesia Partners, as Dr. Lamb apparently has no nurse or office to contact. I have now had a metal post embedded into my jaw to fix the tooth, at my expense. My request was to simply make an insurance claim to get the tooth fixed, but clearly they are not interested in acknowledging what… happened or taking appropriate responsibility. I am sorry to have to post this review.

I have a real problem with getting sick after surgery. Dr Lamb took the time to listen to my concerns and developed a plan of medications that kept me from feeling sick after anesthesia for the first time ever. He even gave me a copy of what medicines he gave me so I can take it to other doctors if I need to have surgery again.
