Dr. William Lannan is a 1972 graduate of the University of Southern California and has maintained a private practice of general dentistry in Santa Barbara, California since then. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Santa Barbara/Ventura County Dental Society in which he has been through the chairs culminating in the Presidency. He served three terms on the Examining Committee of the State of California Board of Dentistry and has received numerous awards for dental journalism. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. He has been involved in many study groups in his career including ten years with Dr. Charles Stuart's gnathology group and Dr.Terry Tanaka's TMJ and Pain residency. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Cornelia Moore Dental Foundation that renders dental treatment to indigent children, as he has for the past thirty years.
