Dr. William Lloyd Leboeuf, MD

I was forced to see this man as a child for most of my childhood. I’m 24 now for reference. The last memory that sticks out in my head of this man was when I told him that I wanted to unalive myself, had to plan to do it, and was going to do it once I left his office. I came to him in crisis, and I left in a worse state. He told me that he wasn’t allowed to admit me for inpatient treatment unless I had tried to unalive myself at least three times because he considered it attention seeking behavior. I told him I don’t need three attempts. It would only take one. I was around 15 at the time, and he was working Kids Peace in Tobyhanna. If you value the health of your children do NOT send them to this man. When I finally was admitted inpatient, I was told that I was having a severe psychiatric allergic reaction to one of the medication’s that William LaBeouf put me on knowing that with my diagnosis I would’ve had a bad reaction to it because it was a medication that I should not have been… allowed to be on given my diagnosis. He’s extremely lucky that my parents decided not to sue him for medical malpractice because if it were up to me, we would have.
