Dr. William D Ledford

As with others who have reported similar problems at this office, our experience was sullied by office staff who were unable to provide direct or transparent information about the financial cost of services or the degree to which those services would be covered by insurance. I received dental work here, was told that the services would be covered by insurance (which I double and triple checked), and I paid my balance. The dental work itself was good--Dr. Ledford was quick and the experience of having my teeth filled was painless and comfortable. However, in the sixth months after my service, I was repeatedly billed for services that the office told me were covered by insurance. Each time I called, I was told that there was a "terrible mistake" at the dental office in the way the services were billed. On the third time I was questionably billed, I was told by a rude, unrelenting office manager that the balance stayed and the other two times I called I had been incorrectly informed that… the balance was in error. This office clearly struggles with its billing practices, and is unable to provide its patients with accurate information. I would not recommend this doctor due to the lack of either clarity or accuracy.

I’ve been going to Dr. Ledford’s office for 5 years, and am glad that my family and I have such a great dental team. They’re like family to us!

I do not understand these other reviews. The staff here is always very courteous and friendly, and the oral hygenists know what they are doing and care about your teeth. Dr. Ledford himself is very knowledgeable, kind and respectful. He knows his stuff and will tell you what you need to know in a tactful way. He will also work with you if you have met your deductible or have to prioritize treatments. I have moved about 20-30 minutes away, but I still go here because I trust these people to take care of me and my teeth. I also recommend his office to any friends or family looking for a dentist.

This Dr explains very clearly whats going to be done at time of appointment...

I had a visit last week with this practice,and I was greatly disappointed. The bathroom had only cold water for hand washing,the floors were dirty and the rooms just seemed filthy. Bad attitudes and not happy with the work he said I needed. Would not recommend anyone visit this practice completely overpriced on the "recommended treatment"
