Dr. William Tinghsien Lin, MD

Dr. Lin takes the time to explain whatever necessary, to both the kids and parents. He is very patient with my children and does things to make treating them easier on them (rather than just rushing through or demanding they do things his way - he works around their needs). He is usually on time, so you don't have to spend forever waiting around in the waiting room. I also like that he will try his best to work a sick child in asap. The monthly emails are very helpful as well.

I am so ashamed of this doctor. He will write a 4 year old Ritalin. He has never talked to the father. Only the mother that is a hypochondriac. When I am at home it’s only structure. Not medication especially not Ritalin. Studies have only been proven on children from 6-10 years old. It’s the mother who gives him no structure and lets him have anything and everything he wants. No consequences so why wouldn’t he run and scream like a normal 4 year old. With all the negative side effects things that can change him for life. If a doctor will prescribe a medication that not approved for there age. Should be shunned by all. I called left message after message. No phone call back. I have spoke with some of the most highly awarded and the best in this business. They all say before you put your child on medication like this. You should work on your self. Because you are most likely the problem. No the innocent child. They even offer free training for this. 90% of doctor in the USA will not… write this for a 4 year old. Everyone please please beware of this doctor. I have lost all respect for him. If you care about your child. Say far far away from this mans office.

I've tried to switch to a more local pediatrician in Rowlett, but came right back to Dr. Lin after 2 years and trial of 3 doctors. Dr. Lin has been my kids' pediatrician for the past 13 years, and I have nothing but good things to say about him. He has good bedside manners and both of my boys enjoy visiting with him. I would highly recommend him to any new parents.

Dr. Lin and his staff are amazing they're always thoughtful caring and have a smile on their face no question is too much for them to answer their extremely patient and thorough I would never go anywhere out my son myself and my family all love him

I found good reviews about Dctr Lin on Vitals and their facility maintaining separate areas for well kid and sick kid and I decided my daughters pediatrician would be Dr Lin before she was born. We have been with him for 21/2 year now. The Office is nice,clean and colorful for kids.The front desk ladies are so Friendly to adults and kids always have a smile. The nurse who treats my kid was also good, she never gets irritated with child tantrums.We used to get the appointments easily. Dctr Lin was extremely caring for the kids. He listens to all my concerns and provide recommendations when ever needed. He used to make a not of my concerns and ask about them on our next visit, which the thing i like the most about him. We are really happy with this Facility on a whole. My only concern was once we are in the room, it would take ~40 min to get the dctr visit us sometimes. Finally as we moved from Richardson we are trying to find a new pediatrician who can at least match Dr Lin and his… facility. :)

Best doctor and team ever!! I have 2 kids and never want to see another doctor!! My kids love him!

Dr. Lin is only accepting referral patience only was what the receptionist over the phone told me. He even listed as accepting patients at Cigna. I'll make sure they change his status.

We are first time parents and did not know what we were doing wrong as the kid was always sick. Everytime we went to the doctor all he gave was stronger and stronger antibiotics and we dont like to take a lot of medicies. We switched the doctor and now within a week he is improving. The new doctor just did a blood test and gave us a list of what he is allergic to and what supplements he needs. I just wish William Lin had done the blood test much earlier and identified the root cause instead of just writing down another strong dose of antibodies. I would not recommend him for first time parents.

Dr. Lin is a wonderful Pediatrician. He saw my daughter as a newborn in the hospital and I quickly transferred my son to his practice. We've been seeing him for 5 years now and can not say enough great things about him. I have recommended him to several friends and coworkers. He is patient, great with the kids, explains things well and follows up.

Dr. Lin has seen our 6 yr old daughter since she was born in the hospital. He has a great chairside manner, is very easy going...my daughter LIKES going to see him (probably for the suckers and stickers :) We are very happy with Dr. Lin and his staff!
