Dr. William David Lindsay, MD

Saw this staff orthopedic doctor at Shelby Baptist. Diagnosed my 78 year old mother’s complaint about intense, immediate shoulder pain from a fall as arthritis. After seeing another orthopedic doctor, who ordered an MRI (Lindsey ordered only an X-Ray), she was diagnosed with three tears in her shoulder and needed a complete shoulder replacement. Common sense tells anyone that an active woman doesn’t develop debilitating arthritis overnight from a fall. This doctor does not listen and apparently does not care. My mother has since had a total shoulder replacement - reverse method by Dr David Adkison, who is amazing.

First off his staff acts & looks as pitiful as they truly are! Rude & disrespectful! He has terrible communication skills and bed side manor! I'm not sure how he's even a doctor anymore!

My Mother fell and broke her hip on a Friday. Dr. Lindsay Was the on call doctor at the time for the ER. He did surgery the next day on Saturday and it Is now Monday and he has yet to order PT Or get her moving and out of the bed. He won't answer our questions or give us a plan. I am very upset by this Doctors lack of skill. He won't Spend any time when making rounds. We are Looking into changing Doctors, which is hard to do! Never will I recommend him to anyone!
