Dr. William C Mcbee Jr., MD, FACOG

Dr. McBee is the BEST doctor I’ve ever seen!!! I have bounced around from different specialists and doctors for 6 years and no one can hold a candle to Dr. McBee’s compassion, patience, and kindness. He saw me for an endometriosis-related surgery consult for an ovarian cysectomy. He was so patient with all my questions and explained very well. Surgery went great, I was so comfortable and every member of the care team was so compassionate and accommodating. For context, I am a hypochondriac and high maintenance patient and they never made me feel like a burden. Dr. McBee has a God-given talent and was super thorough and did what was best for my health, having me take labs for two days after to monitor my levels. His team was outstanding with communication, I can speak highly enough about this experience. I went into surgery with 0 concerns or questions thanks to the efficiency of Dr. McBee’s team— they are on top of it. My main post-op nurse was absolutely fantastic, Latrisse Holloway.… She was super encouraging, patient, and attentive. Latrisse deserves high recognition and praise for her nursing skills. Dr came in to see me pre-op and post-op, as well as called me two days later to check on me. I felt so cared for and valued. He addressed all my concerns for treatment moving forward and I will literally never see any other doctor again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND especially for surgery.

I am so glad I was referred to Dr. McBee. We discussed my ultrasound results and he gave me choices of care and listened to my concerns and let me ultimately decide what I felt was best based on my symptoms. Even at my registration for surgery the lady was so complimentary of Dr. McBee and deservedly so. He is a very good doctor.

Instantly liked. Kind, quiet,not in a rush doctor. His rounds were regular and exactly what my mom needed. Look and behold...he made a follow up phone call a week after her release questioning every detail of her recovery.

He is the most kind and caring physician I have ever met. He listens to my concerns and explains all treatment plans. He discussed risks and benefits of surgery and his surgical skills are top notch. Even the nurses in the operating room were complimentary of his surgical skills and excellent bedside manner. I would recommend him to everyone!!

Dr. Mcbee has been a life-saver for me... both literally and figuratively. After being referred by my regular gyn, I can only say I wish I was referred sooner! He's compassionate, caring, and knowledgable. I completely trust him with my life. As others have said, he took the time to call me himself with results and to check up on me after surgery. The girls in the office are just as fantastic... I have no complaints and always leave here with all my questions answered!

Dr Mcbee is simply amazing! He saved my life when I needed an emergency hysterectomy. He explained the surgery well, discussed post-op care and was so kind and concerned at bedside both pre and post surgery. Afterwards, he called me personally twice as well as his office staff calling to check on my recovery and to see if I had any questions or concerns! WV is lucky to have him!

Dr. McBee and his staff were knowledgable, caring and competent. They did not hesitate to refer my daughter in law when specialized treatment was necessary. We knew that every possible avenue of treatment was explored and that Pam had quality treatment. Caring for someone with terminal cancer is daunting. The staff at this facility met each challenge with expert care and always made us feel that a team was involved and that we were a part of it. We are grateful.
