Dr. William Mc Connell Mills, MD

I went in emergency room for breathing issues. I was also going thru acute opiate withdrawl for legal use, ten year for lower back. I was not there for drug seeking, never asked for opiates, all i wanted was breathing treatment and the same thing t hey did for me a year ago when i went in. they diagnosed me with bronchiectasis, and he refused to look in the computer, he refused to eve use the stethoscope. he let me suffer with such disdain, with puke next to me. he kept saying you are talking in full sentences, so he thinks i was lying i guess? my breath was easy to tell it was raspy and hard to breath, and he didn't care. i brought my father in and a nurse to witness, then he refused to talk to my father and instead quickly left the room. this man should lose his ability to practice medicine. I left of my own accord, and later in my file he never mentioned anything about my complaint of breathing, just the opiate withdrawl. he treated me like a criminal. he is the criminal, imo.

Dr refuse to talk to me about incident prior to entry of hospital causing incident, starved me, no water, no bathroom, tied me up, no continuation of pills given 8 hours. Gone from home 12 hours. Watch it

I woke up in the emergency room after being drugged at a local restaurant. I told Dr. Mills and asked him to get me tested for the drug. He refused and told me I had a problem and deal with it. I complained to the nurse and asked her for the test. She said no it would take too long. The hospital released me at 6 am even though I was still drugged. Luckily I had my phone and called Uber. Basically once this horrible Dr. made his unsubstantiated judgement, I had nothing I could do. It has taken me a week to feel normal. I still don't know what drug was given to me. I have no memory until the hospital. He needs training at a minimum.

Dr. Mills saw me on an emergency room basis for a bee sting that was becoming dangerously infected and scary. He put me at ease and gave me the medical assurance I needed to stay calm and deal with the situation. He followed up with me during the week and called twice to make sure I was ok and check that I "stay on track" by seeing a primary physician. If he was in private practice, I would be the first to sign up!

This is a trauma center so promptness is not the best for lower rated emergencies, but that said it is still quite good. Dr. Mills is amazing! He is so kind. He has treated me twice once for car accident and another. Dr. Mills had amazing bedside manner and put me at ease since I was obviously freaked out after the 10 car pile up. Since this is a trauma ER I can't recommend this doctor, but if he was in private practice I would do just that. He even called me (both times) a day after to check on me. That speaks volumes!!
