Dr. William John Moriconi, MD

Dr. Moriconi, as a doctor, was just ok and I more than likely would have continued to go to him but his staff is rude and when you call they act like you are troubling them by asking them to do their job.

When I was 46 years old I was diagnosis with colon cancer. If I would not have seen Dr. Moriconi I don't believe I would be alive today. After a year of Chemo, I still remain cancer free. His office staff at the time were the nicest people I have dealt with. I believe Ginger was the office manager. He spent time with me and he and I lbecame good friends. We spent time during my chemo sessions to tell jokes and he was always teasing me about being older than him. I hope he reads this and remembers me and knows that he saved my life.

A follow up to a previous review in which the dr disregarded an question/issue during a chemo session. The issue was severe pain in the patients feet, which were later diagnosed during an ER visit as clots or an atherosclerotic showering event. Recently, in doing research for a totally different reason, I just came across a scientific paper that discusses thrombolytic events being very common during chemotherapy! I fully understand that a chemo patient had a lot going on. Now I'm wondering why this wasn't identified by the chemo dr as a possible adverse event? I work in an FDA-regulated environment and my company has strict policies regarding reporting adverse events even if remotely linked to the pharmaceutical drug. I still remember how weird it was ...he practically ran out of the room.

Came recommended to us by our family physician after our family member received a Stage 4 cancer diagnosis. When we asked about a new and troubling symptom for our family member, who was actively getting a chemo treatment, he walked in treatment room, exclaimed he didn't have anything to do with that, and walked away. That was that. We expected more. At least a concerned recommendation. Turned out to be extremely serious, probably unrelated to the cancer/chemo treatment, and we ended up in the ER a week later. That was the last visit to this dr. Not a good experience during a very difficult and scary time. I could say more, but won't. Won't recommend this doctor. The staff and nurses were great.
