Very self absorb and arrogant. He’s not actually trying to help anyone, except for maybe big drug corporations and the police.

I was on heroin for 15 years. I’ve been off of it for almost 2 and have been on Suboxone to help me through it. I’m new to the area and was referred to this guy. Worst experience with an addiction “specialist “ I’ve ever had. That’s saying a lot since I had a lot of teen angst during my first few inpatient treatments.. and the fact that I’m clean now and just looking to continue maintenance makes it worse. During the three hours I was at the office, I talked to him for less than a minute to realize this guy had some kind of contract with a certain medication, so he’s a one size fits all kind of doctor. If you need actual help... don’t go to a coroner.

In the first minute he said "you are here to see me because you are addicted so don't point the finger or play the blame game. "how do we go forward from here." From that point there was no where to hide and everything was completely honest. It hurt for 5 seconds and then there was tremendous freedom. Nobody was ever that honest with me in my life.
