Dr. William T Myers

Dr. William Myers, founder of the Huntington Dental Group, has been in practice in Huntington, West Virginia since 1973. A graduate of Milton High School, he attended Marshall University majoring in Zoology and Chemistry, receiving his B.S. Degree.from Marshall University. After teaching in the public school system in Elkins, West Virginia, he attended West Virginia University School of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Fraternal organizations include Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, Chi Beta Phi National Science Honorary and Xi Psi Phi Professional Dental Fraternity.
Dr. Myers is a member of the Huntington Dental Society, West Virginia Dental Association, American Dental Association and has been associated with the Academy of General Dentistry, American Society of Dentistry for Children, American Endodontic Society and the American Cancer Society. He has served as program chairman of the Huntington Dental Society and the West Virginia Dental Association …Annual Session, Board of Directors of the Huntington Dental Society, member of the Executive Council of the West Virginia Dental Association and past Treasurer of the West Virginia Dental Association as well as serving on various Local, State and National Committees. Dr. Myers was one of the originators of the Dental Services program for the Federal Head Start Program in the Huntington and surrounding area and served as a consultant for Region III - U.S. Department of Human Services as well as chairman of the Health Advisory Board of the Southwestern Community Action Council. Dr Myers is certified in ViziLite Oral Cancer Pre-Screening. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries (Huntington area) and is presently serving as advisory on the Rehabilitation committee of Goodwill Industries.
Dr. Myers is on full and active staff at Cabell Huntington Hospital; he is an active member of the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church and resides in Huntington, West Virginia.
