need more doctors in the profession with bedside manner like Dr. Nottingham

Dr. Nottingham always takes the time to thoroughly understand why you come to him. He listens carefully, asks questions about what is happening in your life which may affect your health. He will begin with the most non-invasive response and eliminates alternatives after careful consideration. His attention to detail can cause him to be a little late for the next appt, but I appreciate knowing that he treats everyone with such care.

Dr. Nottingham is wonderful. He's of the mentality that the patient's health and care come first, and he wants to get to the root of your problems. That being said, expect your wait times to vary. My wait last week was over an hour. One downside is that his receptionist isn't always reliable - there's been more than one occassion where she was supposed to call me with test results and didn't. I've also been in the waiting room and have watched her let the phone ring and doesn't answer it (since I've been on the other end of that phone and have experienced this, it angered me), nor does she pass on important notes to Dr. Nottingham - she sticks immediate questions I have on my chart, and unless I call and prod her to get the doctor on the phone, my issue or question won't be addressed until my next visit which to me, is unacceptable. Other than her, Dr. Nottingham is of a dying breed of doctors that is in his profession 100% for the patient and not the profit.

Excellent down to earth doctor that cares for his patients.

Dr Nottingham is a very good doctor. He will spend time with you explaining to you your health problem so you understand. Good bedside manner.
