Patient-centered care has almost become a buzz word in the prostate cancer community- every patient wants an oncologist who provides it, while almost every hospital claims to deliver it. Like most things in life, however, the proof of the pudding is in the tasting. My experiences with Dr Oh and his team at Mt Sinai hospital indicate that he is the real thing when it comes to collaborating with his patients, respecting my personal choices and input into the decision making process, while at the same time providing expert guidance to help ensure that these are truly informed choices. This is a difficulty balancing act but Dr Oh pulls it off brilliantly. He is regarded as a guru by people in my prostate cancer support groups.

Dr Oh is very approachable and experienced doctor of oncology. Dr Oh took time and addressed all questions about my my well being in relation to my metastasized Prostate cancer. He clearly explained my results and pointed out alternatives available should my PSA increase. I am very impressed with his thoroughness, experience, competence and kindness. I look forward to his treatment of my cancer should it re-appear.
