Dr. William Alan Paul, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Psuls for over 20 years and can say he is the best Rheumatoligist I have ever consulted. After many try's I was referred to Dr Paul and have been very satisfied with my treatment. After several try's my medication was adjusted to give me the best treatment and a livable level of pain I could tolerate . As you know pain is a daily visitor when you have rheumatoid arthritis. Dr Paul has been a friend as well as a Dr who has helped me immeasurably over the years. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his associates to my friends and family. He rates 5 stars as far as I am concerned !!!!! .

I was referred to this office to see a different physician but when called to schedule an appointment I was told it would be 3-4 month wait for the original doctor so I was told that Dr. Paul had an opening the following week and would be happy to see me. I accepted the appointment. When I arrived the waiting room was packed out and I signed in and sat down 45 minutes later I was called to the desk and asked to fill out a slew of paper work. When I completed them and turned the back into the receptionist I waited another 35 minutes before being called to the back to see the doctor. I was not impressed with Dr. Paul at my first visit. He came in with his laptop in hand and while I was telling him why I was there he did not look at me just at his laptop, I feel like I had to tell him what was wrong and what I needed from him. He spent about 5 minutes with me and ordered lab work and gave me a prescription and was told to make an appointment to return 3 months later. I went back and the… same wait, the same laptop visit and when I asked him for help with something different it was as if , well I can if you want and has been that way ever since. I asked to see the original dr that I was referred to and was told by the receptionist that I had to stay with Dr. Paul and could not change after being seen by him. I do not care for him and his bedside manner as to speak, He does not seem to be concerned about me as a patient.

Not very friendly and won't put down his laptop to listen to you. Does not call to give you bloodwork results. Is not managing my pain well enough.
