There are many reasons that a medical office may have collected 50.00 for services. Whether services received were not paid by your medicaid plan or to save you and us the time savings of making a 1 dollar transaction every time you enter the office. If you have a valid credit on your account of $46, and requested it be returned, Its hard for me to imagine it wasn't returned. Feel free to contact the office and ask for Dr. Pezzello directly. I have $1.00 copay per visit. Regen America Philadelphia (6062, Ridge Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19128) collected $50 copays upfront for 50 visits. I am guessing the reason for this is to get 50 visits out of each patient for larger profits. Copays should be paid at the time of the visit. I informed Regen America that I wanted to end treatment and they did not refund me for the other 46 visits I paid for and was not present for. I contacted the office multiple time via text, phone call, etc. within the last six months. My last visit was 6-7 months ago, and I still did not receive my $46 refund. I am a poor dental student with very little savings and massive amount of debt, and I am disgusted ?? that they treat patients this way. DID NOT REFUND ME $46 FOR THE 46 VISITS I CANCELED! One star for the practice!
