Dr. William Howard Polk, MD

I am 78 and have dealt with much surgery and procedures for a long time--including several cancer surgeries. I came to Dr. Polk through my primary doctor at a very critical time. HE IS AMAZING--highly skilled, honest, personable, he has given me a "new lease on life". My recovery has been remarkable.

Dr Polk is an amazing doctor and great guy. Him and his Nurse Karen took wonderful care of my brother and I can not be more grateful to have met him. If you or a family member are suffering from colon or pancreas cancer, please call him ASAP, don’t wait.

Dr. Polk is as real/honest and as brilliant as they come. He saved my life when faced with a major health crisis. The day he was recommended as a surgeon for my cancer, it was the luckiest day of my life.

He is the best Surgeon that I have ever had thru 2 cancers. He made sure he got it all and I never hurt post operatively. Back at work 2nd time and doing well.

Kudos to Dr. Polk!!! I was referred to Dr. Polk by my Oncologist for 2 out-patient surgery procedures. Having had numerous surgeries in the past, I was hesitant of what to expect. My fears were put to ease by the care, concern and personal interest Dr. Polk extended to me from my first vist, during surgery, and in my follow-up. He actually corrected what a previous surgeon had done poorly. I thank him for his exceptional kindness and care and I would not hesitate to refer anyone who asks to Dr. Polk because I feel they would be in the best of hands. Thank you Dr. Polk!

Dr. Polk made my whole surgery and hospital stay very comfortable. My stipulation before surgery was to have no blood transfusion and Dr. Polk did not have a problem with No Blood. I also was very surprised to see him release me fromthe hospital between his surgery that morning. He could have made me wait to the end of the day. Thanks! Dr. Polk.

Anyone experiencing cancer for the first time goes through many emotional and physical experiences. Finding the right medical professional is key to fighting this battle. Dr. Polk did an amazing job in providing top notch care. His approach made me confident that we could beat this illness. He is very personable in getting to know his patients and very transparent to ensuring your comfortable wit the treatment plan. His sense of humor is great, especially when I called him the night before my surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone that shares my same experience. I can't thank him or his support staff for the memorable experience I had along the way in my battle to beat cancer!
