Dr. Powers is a great doctor because of his ability to listen to his patients. He asks a lot of questions and has something most Dr's don't ..... empathy!! He doesn't run for his prescription pad and works to find out the cause of the problem. Wish I could clone him for every medical problem I have. Keep up the great work Dr. Powers.

Dr. Powers is one of the best Dr's I have visited in Knoxville. He's a great listener and a very caring person. He actually sees me as a genuine person with a medical problem, not just a number on a long busy day. I appreciate him very much.

He actually listens to his patients and seems to care. I have been going to him about 6 months and as far as I am concerned he is one of the best doctors I have ever seen.

This is just not any Doctor this is a Doctor that cares for his patients and listen to your concerns about your well being. Most doctors comes in five minutes and gone , not Dr. Powers he makes sure you will understand everything about your treatment. He stays in the room as long as it takes. He is fun to talk with and with a out going personality the man is a awesome Doctor. If you would like a Doctor that knows his stuff Dr. Powers is the man to see.

I have been treat by Dr. Powers since 2006 when I was diagnosed with lung cancer. He is very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him high highly.

Dr. Powers was the second specialist in Knoxville That I saw about my COPD. I also saw two specialists in Nashville. Both of them basically told me that I had Stage Four COPD and there was nothing that could be done for me.It was basically the same at the other docyor I saw in Knoxville. Dr. Powers gave me some pointers, pulmonary rehab, and adjusted my medications and I improved ! Marginally, but it was the first improvement I had ever seen since I knew I had COPD and emphysemA . tHIS IS THE HIGHEST RECOMMEDATIONS THAT i COULD GIVE ANYONE.
