Dr. William Allen Redwine

The thing I remember about Dr. Redwine the most was his sense of humor and his compassion and of course Dr Redwine was the first Doctor I saw to wear Red Glasses. LOL. Dr. Redwine saved my life. I had peritonitis and was operated on 7 times. I always liked going back to see him for a checkup. You are my hero Dr. Redwine and by the way I live in Waco now and had some minor surgery performed by a Dr. Ragan who you may know. He sure knows you from med school.

Dr. Redwine is the poorest excuse for a doctor ever. He botched my surgery and had to redo it the next day. He was rude and arrogant. I will suffer for the rest of my life due to his incompetence. I also heard on the news later that he had sedated a patient his office for a procedure. When she woke up the lights were out and everybody had gone home. Beware!

Easiest way to say this: We found more information from a single source online and in the library than what he gave us. Total waste of time, total waste of money.The resultant side-effect had my significant other crying in the room after he examined her breasts /with his eyes closed/. He didn't take note of the wincing. Apparently severe, debilitating breast pain is "normal" and there are "no medications to treat this problem" -- even though a simple search reveals there are at least 3 medications.He offered little than the brush off of, "Take a pain reliever." He didn't offer anything else even though our own research indicates there are plenty of options for treatment.His attitude was rude and ignorant. He didn't understand how painful her breasts are and can be. He simply brushed us off and to add insult to injury at one point when she was relaying her information, he began the typical, and almost cartoonish, "Mm-hmm, ok, mm-hmm..." He was clearly ignoring her because I was watching… what he was writing and he was writing nothing in regards to what was going on. At one point he even stopped taking notes all together and she even gave important information (which I used to find potential treatments myself) in which he didn't write down.The only person in the room that seemed even somewhat interested was the medical student.We will be filing a complaint immediately and telling our referring physician to /never/ recommend this heinous example of a licensing fluke.

I have complete confidence in Dr. Redwine. He performed 2 separate surgeries for me, years apart, a mastectomy and hernia repair. He was very thorough in his recommendations to me. Both procedures went exactly as planned. He spent a lot of time explaining things to my family after the surgeries. Dr. Redwine is an excellent surgeon and a kind man.

Dr. Redwine has been my surgeon for 20 years. He is truly an asset to his profession and a great person as well.
