Dr. William Max Rich, MD

Would have been nice if my referring doctor knew he was retired but primarily LaSalle. It is not fair to the patient most of all. All around lack of medical professionalism and total disregard for any continuity of patient care. PERIOD. FAILS US, THE PATIENTS. ISN'T THAT WHY YOU HAVE A JOB.

When I was in need of care...Dr. Rich was there with the right answers and the compassion I needed. You can not ask for more than that out of any doctor.

Dr. Rich is very pleasant, listened to my concerns, and took excellent care of me, pre and post surgery. I had a cancer diagnosis, I was concerned about the surgery (basically wanted a horizontal cut, instead of a vertical cut - which takes longer to heal and no staples). He told me to remind him just before surgery, which I did, and he did exactly as I wanted. My recovery time was quick, no problems, no complications. His staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this doctor and his staff; great service, professional and knowledgeable.

Dr William Rich has absolutely the worst bedside manner. He must have a bad day I suppose and was just taking it out on his dying cancer patient that he gave a past hysterectomy. I actually was taken back on how he talked and treated my mother. What a terrible ugly angry acting person. I see he is retiring and I think his retirement is long past due.

I just returned from Stanford Hospital to obtain a second opinion after being given a diagnosis from Dr. Rich that was completely inaccurate. His bedside manner is awful and out of touch with today's female. He didn't take anytime to explain or outline the possibilities of my issues. He is out of touch and I would never recommend any cancer patient to this doctor.
