I would like to say that the ladies that work in the front they are the sweetest ladies I’ve ever met. They are very helpful but there is only so much they can help with. The billing dept needs to do better. I caught an error on a payment and next thing you know my surgery was canceled. First time seeing this doctor. I was not impressed at all. He kept pushing me to do a bypass surgery but I refused several times. I had to see him for GERD problems. Was suppose to have surgery soon and now I'm not b/c the billing office clearly didn't know what they was doing and I was going to have to pay more than I was supposed to.. So I caught the error and informed the billing dept that it was wrong and next thing I get a call from the nurse saying my surgery has been canceled all due to the payment. Now if the nurse would have said before we can proceed with the surgery you need to speak with someone in billing about the payment not just canceled my surgery all due to a miscommunication on the… billing dept part. But that was not the case here. This doctor doesn't care about his patients, he only cares about that money which is a shame. I do not recommend this doctor!!!!

I was referred to Dr. Richardson for a consultation on esophageal hernia repair. I advised him I was very hesitant about doing surgery at my age. He thoroughly explained the procedures and recovery. He went over the pros and cons of the surgery and put my mind completely at ease.

His entire team is great. Love all 3 doctors and the NP/Pa's

My first visit was very comforting . Dr Richardson and his staff were amazing.

This doctor makes a decision before he even weighs all the facts. He has very terrible bedside manners. I remember when I would be upset in his office nearly in tears and he would just laugh to make it worse. I felt like I was not being taken seriously. I had a supposedly gall baldder problem. After having it removed by another surgeon, I still have the same pain that I came in for five years ago. Wrong diagnosis by doctor.
