Dr. William Thomas Robinson SR., MD

I have been going to Dr. Robinson for about 14 years. He is thorough in explaining procedures and diagnoses and has a wonderful bedside manner.

Dr. Robinson performed 2 colonoscopies, analysis of small intestine and stomach. All procedures went off without a hitch. Seemed like a nice guy, explained everything I needed to know. Rather uneventful, which is good I suppose.

This Dr took me off all my stomach meds. After 5 weeks I could take the pain no longer and called office about the pain. Replies are always from secretary, never the Doc himself. My reply was "the doctor says you have a motility problem and you just have to learn to live with it". Was then referred to nurse. Nurse put me back on meds and scheduled endo and colonoscopy combo. Found and removed 1 large polyp. Pain in lower abdomen and lower back weeks after procedure (had these tests b4, I know what to expect so I'm not just being a whiner). Was sent for cat scan (no perforation) Had to get results from my primary. Multiple calls for test results went unanswered for weeks. Follow up sigmoid made pain worse. Have been in moderate to severe left side abdomen and back pain for 3 months now all calls to office go unanswered. This Doctor seems to desire little to no contact with patient outside of the procedure (like a surgeon) The nurse practioner contradicts everything the doctor says or… does and tried to treat my acid reflux disease as a mental illness by referring me to a shrink and telling me to come back in a year. I won't set foot in that office again.

Dr. Robinson had an excellent bedside manner and was a superior diagnostician. He was able to identify the root cause of my problems by way of a very thorough history and analysis of lab results. My case had stumped others. I highly recommend him.

This guy left me in his waiting room for 1 1/2 hours while he was shooting the bull in his office. There were no other patients the whole time I was there. I left without being seen and never came back. He's a complete loser.

My wife needed a colonoscopy for a potentially serious issue. Her PCP sent her to Dr. Robinson. Initial consultation was fine, colonoscopy was scheduled. The day before it was scheduled, she got a call that it was cancelled because they neglected to get insurance approval. After three weeks, my wife called back and was told they needed to contact the physician that performed her previous colonoscopy. Then there were more delays. We had to contact the original doctor ourselves to have records faxed. Finally, I called to see what the delay was, and was informed that since 30 days had passed since the initial consultation, we had to start over again (beginning with the 15 minute, $250 "consultation fee"). This entire process has been going on for over seven months and we are no closer to having her examined than we were before we even contacted Dr. Robinson's office. The followup is non-existent. All issues have been bruought up only when we called the office. They never called us except… to tell us the original appt. was cancelled.I can only pray that a serious issue has not gone unaddressed because of the inexcusable delays.
