Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. It was so bad that I got up and walked out. Went for a surgery consultation and he couldn’t tell me if I needed it or not. He kept saying that he could remove the tori from the roof of my mouth if I wanted to do it. I told him that I really don’t want it done if it’s not necessary. He that without a CT scan, he couldn’t say one way or the other. Instead of saying let’s do a CT scan, then make the decision, he just kept telling me it was up to me if I wanted to remove it. What kind of doctor does that?? I’m not the doctor…. He should be the one to make that call and if a CT was needed, he should have ordered it and said we will proceed if the scan warrants surgery. Tori removal is not pleasant, it’s very painful and no one in their right mind would want it done if it was not necessary.

In the midst of all this CoVid stuff a molar cracked and was causing pain. Was referred to an oral surgeon. After the searching the internet for 3-4 hrs. I found him and he accepted my insurance. Everyone I spoke with was wonderful, caring, and helpful. Even though my tooth was cracked, he was able to do an extraction without elation, just local. Dr. Runyon is gentle and tells you what is going on. The 2 ladies who assisted him were kind, informative, and helpful.
