Dr. William Nevins Rush, MD

Dr. Rush earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Vermont. He completed his internship at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Denver and his residency in anesthesiology at the Brooke Army Medical Center. Dr. Rush served in both the U.S. Army and Navy, and as a Commander for the United States Naval Reserves.

his position at Brackenridge, Dr. Rush has worked in private practice since 1978. He has worked as a clinical instructor for more than 20 years for various medical training programs, including the Central Texas Medical Foundation Interns and Residents. Dr. Rush is a delegate for the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists and is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Anesthesiologists, Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society and the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists.
