Dr. William Joseph Ruth, MD

Dr. Rude is how he is known by other females in my community. Poor bedside manner, condescending and treats questions as personal attacks. For example, after requesting diflucan (pill) be prescribed with antibiotics as they often cause yeast infections, he stated, "No. You can get the cream." After i questioned this, he reported he would note my "demand" in my chart as such. Many times he has snapped & been awful.

I managed to conclude my holidays by catching an ear infection. My vist to York Hospital Emergency Care unit in Wells proved the most satisfying. The locals were hotel-like and welcoming and the staff the most caring. I was seen by Dr. Ruth who was charming but efficient in his examination and treatment of the said infection.
