Dr. William Paul Sawyer, MD

This office and the staff were friendly and courteous. The wait was not long and the other patient's were a pleasure to speak to since many have been coming here for years. Dr.Sawyer and his Nurse practitioner,Julie Holt ARNP-C were GREAT!!! Both were very knowledgable and informative and I didn't feel like a patient at all.They and their staff treated and spoke to me as a person rather than a patient.They spent quality time with me and allowed me to put my input in also. Wonderful visit and highly recommended.

These people are and polite and cooperative... until the surgery is over. My mother had interstim surgery and was in pain and still is after 5 weeks. Dr. Sawyer has not seen her since the surgery. She developed an infecion after the sutures did not dissolve properly and were removed without any local pain relief. My mother had to ask for pain relief. The nurse practitioner recommended a heating pad and prescribed pain pills after my mother insisted. The nurse practitioner then provided no other advice or course of treatment for pain. The staff is unfriendly and unknowledgeable and Dr. Sawyer's' post surgery treatment has been poor and insufficient (he has yet to see my mother personally) we have another appointment with the nurse practitioner as the pain is not going away and the incision is still swollen after 5 weeks.

When I declined to follow DR Sawyer's preferred treatment, he had office staff inform me that I would no longer be his patient.

Dr. Sawyer treated me for prostate cancer about 8 years ago. He is by far the friendlist doctor I have ever known. His treatment of my disease was excellant. He is a caring and God fearing man - something very assuring as you prepare for surgery.
