Intensely perceptive, compassionate, almost always available outside of hours in event of crisis or need. Have referred several friends to Dr. Scholler and they continue to see him regularly. Has helped me cope and battle over the past few years, and I've made great strides thanks to him.

Dr. Scholler is a nice man but he is not a dynamic engaged therapist

Dr Scholler is a very nice man, and I’m sure was an effective therapist in his day. If you’ve never seen a therapist before, he can probably help you for a while. I’m experienced with therapists and needed some specific care, and he just couldn’t help me; I learned more searching online and reading articles and postings online than I did from him. He’s not up to date with things like trauma from abusive relationships, not current with social media. Worse, he took phone calls and checked messages during our sessions (which often started late). He missed some important connections that I would expect an engaged, motivated therapist to make. Thank goodness I have sophisticated friends who helped me figure some things out. If you care enough to research your next therapist, keep looking

Dr. Scholler is a caring, empathetic, compassionate, professional and insightful practitioner. He is attentive and remembers the details of past visits allowing him to provide relevant perspective and meaningful insights. In addition to helping me, he has been there for my husband and son in times of need. He has my gratitude and highest recommendation!
