Dr. William E Schu, MD

I told the Dr. to schedule surgery, and his receptionist, too, just to ensure that nothing fell thru the cracks. Eight days later, I learn that nothing was scheduled, so they tried again. Three days later I get a letter from Crouse w/ surgery date, but no info. on what to expect/how to prepare/etc. The Dr's office states the hospital does that. The hospital says the Dr. does that. So... I ask to see the Dr. again and am told that's not possible. Fortunately the office mgr. gets me an appt., but upon seeing the Dr. 2 days before surgery, he forgot that I was scheduled. I had it and went elsewhere.

Dr. Schu is wonderful. He explains everything, takes time with you and generally one of the kindest Drs. I have ever met. I trust him with any procedure needed. A true professional.

Dr. Schu was hands down the absolute best doctor I have ever visited. He is prompt, courteous, and very capable. Most importantly to me, he returned every phone call personally, even if that meant calling me well after office hours had ended. I trust him completely.

Doctor Schu is great, he has taken care of me since 2009 for my gallbladder surgery. He also consulted on a surgery that was not his own for me. Now he will be taking my thyroid out. I trust him implicitly, he knows what he is doing and he knows what he is talking about. He has called me after hours to check in and most of all he listens to me, which most doctors don't these days,

Excellent surgeon who (along with his staff) provides exceptional care. Dr. Schu would routinely call me after hours and on weekends to check in with me. He has never failed to return a call promptly and answer all my questions thoroughly. His staff is knowledgeable and helpful. He is absolutely my go-to doctor for surgical needs.
