Dr. William Selby, DO

Selby is okay for a doctor. He does listen to your concerns but if you don’t parent like he thinks you should, he makes you feel inferior and like you are failing your child. He is condescending if you point out that the information he is providing goes against AAP recommendations. His nurses are there to do a job and don’t try to make the kids feel comfortable. They even gave too much of a vaccine at my daughters 4 month appointment and I should have switched doctors then. I think he is recommended way too frequently for the doctor he actually is.

Dr. Selby is the best pediatrician or doctor we’ve been to. He is kind, patient, knowledgeable, gentle, funny, loving, and truly cares!! All 3 of our children see Dr. Selby so we see him frequently and I have never had a bad feeling, bad experience or disappointment after leaving. I KNOW my children are in the best care possible. I can’t say enough wonderful things about him. His staff is great, too.

Dr. Selby was extremely kind, however in seeing our young child he noted possible developmental delays without provided help or possible solutions in assisting our child who is under the age of 1. We left feeling like mediocre parents who were concerned there was something either wrong with us as parents or something wrong with our child. After changing doctors we felt more confident after the new doctor addressed the concerns directly with action and support. Dr. Selby is a good doctor for healthy babies, but we felt he was not helpful in addressing some concerns was had for our child.

I have had great experience with taking my special needs grandson to Dr Selby. We have needed many referrals for several different doctors and Dr.Selby has always been prompt with all his needs. We see a lot of doctors but not too many show the compassion and concern that Dr. Selby and his staff show.

I have never met a smarter physician.
