He and his wife Karen are involved in their church and in many local community activities. He has served as Deacon and Elder at First Presbyterian church in Marietta and is past president of Cobb Landmarks and Historical Society and also a former leader of his church’s Boy Scout troop.
Dr. Sellers has 3 children, Matt, a recent Valdosta State University graduate, Ansley a Senior at the University of Georgia, and John, a Marietta High School Junior. He is very active in the mission program at his church having been on recent mission trips to Romania, Ghana, Moscow and Mexico.
