Dr. William Shepherd
Dr. William Shepherd (Dr. Bill) is an East Tennessee native. He
was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee and graduated from Sullivan Central High School. From there, he graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and then from the University of Tennessee, College of Dentistry in 1982. At UT, he was selected as a member of the Dean's Honor Society.
He returned to the Kingsport area with his wife, the former Hilda Ottenfield, also of Kingsport to start his practice and raise a family. Dr. Bill started practicing dentistry with Dr. Andy Collins in 1983 and has now also joined with Dr. Susan Burks Creech to provide comprehensive dental services to the good people of East Tennessee.
When Dr. Bill is out of the office, he spends time with his family, (He has EIGHT children!), farming, playing basketball and enjoying church activities.
