Dr. William Shergy of North Alabama Rheumatology Associates has practiced rheumatology and internal medicine for over forty years. Conditions he treats include osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, fatigue, and fibromyalgia. Tests he performs include a CBC (complete blood count), white blood cell differential, alkaline phosphatase testing, and DEXA scanning. He is affiliated with Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children, Crestwood Medical Center, and Helen Keller Hospital. I’ve always been impressed with his office staff, nurses, and lab associates. Everyone has always been so kind, supportive, knowledgeable, and professional. I see Dr. Shergy every six months for help managing my osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, fatigue, and fibromyalgia. I have found Dr. Shergy to be kind, knowledgeable, very supportive, and professional. He has such a wonderful bedside manner, is quite concerned about his patients, and has always been so soft spoken. He goes over my tests and lab work… with me to make sure I understand exactly what is happening to my body. I will continue seeing Dr. Shergy and receiving treatment from him probably for the rest of my life. I rate Dr. Shergy, his nurses, his office staff, and his lab associates as five stars. Every time I see them they are all so concerned and kind to me. That’s the kind of people I prefer to have helping me with my medical conditions.
