Dr. William Shestak, DO

Dr William seems to be a very good doctor. Fast in his decisions and very caring. I was at the emergency room last night with abdominal pain. Besides physical examination he got me ready for CT scan and a whole bunch of blood work and etc. My blood pressure was really high due the pain, but he calmed me down explaining the “ why” very knowledgeable about everything. Thanks to Greenwich hospital having good staff and doctors Ps- nurses are amazingly good and caring.

Doctor was very caring for me talked to me for a while, gave me meds that I had asked for. Good bedside manner.whish I could see this doctor every time I go to the er

Gave terrible and non-medically sound advice. Told to alternate motrin and advil for pain--makes no sense. Said he could test for a kidney stone with a stethescope. ????

Zero personalization for patients. One size fits all attitude. One medication of his choice fits anyone with a similar ailment – regardless what patient's history is what they are comfortable taking. Horrible bedside manner. Have been prescribed the same medication by my general practitioner who is on vacation. I ran out and went to have script filled temporarily for the week. Dr. gave me a three hour weeds and filled one days worth after a lecture. He does not know me my history and didn't even bother to look at my chart which was also within his Computer network. Dr. was also fully aware that without the medication taken regularly, it could result in grand mal seizure.
