Dr William Shieh, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Shieh for many years, dating back to when the office was in East Hartford. He's compassionate, concerned and a good listener, which is important so he can get all the information necessary. Besides attending to the immediate issue, he works diligently to develop an overall care plan to cover all the medical issues I have. One may require medication, tests and physical therapy immediately. Others require tests and surgery on hands, shoulders and hips, to be done in a logical manner, with pre-hab physical therapy to strengthen the muscles. He's a compassionate genius! But of course he's very popular with patients, and it can get difficult to get an appointment with him because he's so busy.

Dr. Shieh listened and I did not feel rushed. He suggested Physical Therapy for treatment and I am back to normal. His diagnosis and treatment put me on the road to recovery.

I know Dr's (having worked in several medical offices). Dr Shieh is WONDERFUL! He takes time to listen to his patients, he makes sure to read your chart before he sees each patient so that he will be up to date with their history and he uses logic instead of throwing medications at a person. I LOVE my Dr! I have kept my insurance with BCBS because he doesn't participate with my other insurance. That is how much I like Dr Shieh!
