Dr. Shierling, originally from Southwest Georgia, graduated from the University of Georgia and later Emory University Dental School in 1984. After two years in Tennessee, he moved his practice to Cape Coral where he provided dental care to thousands of loyal patients for the past seventeen years.
His philosophy of providing multiple treatment options to meet any size pocketbook is appreciated by his patients. He prides himself on making the “impossible --- possible”. Difficult extractions, one-visit crowns, new technologies are all part of his finely-honed skills. He particularly enjoys providing patients with a new smile through the modern wonders of cosmetic dentistry. Providing emergency care to get patients out of pain is also part of his commitment to the practice of quality dentistry.
Dr. Shierling designed and built the new office on Cape Coral Parkway a little over two years ago. He is proud to have such beautiful surroundings in which to provide …care for his patients.
Dr. Shierling, and his wife Kathy, live in Fort Myers with their two teenage sons—Cannon and Sloan.  It is truly a family business with Kathy managing the business aspects of the practice.
