Dr. William Scott Shin, MD

Dr. Shin and the great staff of the St. Francis Arrhythmia Center helped to save my life. After receiving a Linq implant- a monitor that Dr Levine implanted just in case- to monitor my arrhythmia, it revealed that my heart was stopping for 8-9 seconds at a time. Dr. Shin then put in a pacemaker, and I have been improving ever since. It has almost been 2 years now and when I go to my regular MD, he compliments my scar, says I was so lucky to get Dr. Shin, and my answer is always the same. Yes, I am very lucky to be under the care of a caring physician with great hands and great skills.

As I write this review, let me tell you that I am in the process of planning a surprise 80th birthday for my dad. This would not have been possible if not for Dr. William Shin, and I will be forever grateful for his amazing hands and life saving skills. Lucky that my dad was able to get to St. Francis to get this great care from this great physician.

A few years ago Dr. Shin put in a pacemaker. When I had it tested by the person from St. Jude's a year afterward the person told me that the doctor who put in my pacemaker did a terriffic job.

As a Catholic priest, I am in regular contact with people from all walks of life. I am in a helping profession but recently found myself in need of help, having developped a heart problem. I entrusted my health issue to the care of Dr. Shin and I am grateful for having benefitting from his professional expertise but also from his gentle, reassuring and caring bedside manner. I put my life in his hands and am grateful that he helped me to get back on the road to a complete recovery.

He saved my life after I almost had a life threatening arrhythmia!

dr shin is one of a kind, he is not onlya fabulous technican but kind,through,patient,honorable,will treat your family like your own. He saved my moms life when other doctors in the same practice did not want to go out of there way to help her. He is honest and will try his best to help you!!!!

Doctor Shin in my opition is one of the most exceptional doctors I have met. He sucessfully implanted a ICD and saved my mother's life. Besides being a skilled professional, he also has a fantastic bedide mannor. Doctor Shin will answer any questions you may have (as many times as you want). He genuinely cares very much about his patients and takes pride in his work. If you need to have a complicated proceedure like this done, I would strongly recommend Doctor Shin.
