Hi there, William Silverstone here. I have always enjoyed relating to people. I like helping people get in touch with their innermost desires and dreams. We’ll identify any barriers you may be encountering and design a manageable game plan to help you overcome these hurdles and get you back in your proper stride!

I became a Counselor because I love helping people attain their optimum level of personal well-being. I have solid experience assisting patients who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression to learn how to reduce their symptoms. People often encounter adjustment issues, anger management concerns, social difficulties and stress which interfere with attaining your life goals. I’ll show you how to fortify your personal toolkit of coping skills to enable you to better reach and attain the optimum level of achievement and happiness that you deserve in your life.

In our initial session we’ll get to know each other. We’ll discuss your life experiences and which areas of …concern you would like to address. I’ll answer your questions about counseling and go over what you would like to achieve in our collaboration. We’ll discuss your goals in life and what obstacles might be getting in the way of achieving them. We’ll review any mental health concerns you may have and determine the areas you’d like to address. We’ll work together to develop an open nurturing safe space and forge a solid collaborative connection and create a straightforward plan to get your life back on track!

I have served in different organizations working with diverse populations in a variety of roles involving mental health, managed health care, addiction and sobriety concerns. I enjoy meeting new people and figuring out what makes them tick. I have an engaging personality and a helpful nature. My curiosity allows me to probe into the depths of your mind and ask the right questions and work towards understanding the root causes of your concerns and then create a treatment plan to help you come to terms with your personal demons.

I understand it’s not easy acknowledging that we need help, and it takes a lot of courage to reach out for assistance to enable you to address the mental health concerns that may be keeping you from embracing the full level of success and happiness you deserve.

I obtained my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Youngstown State University in 2007. I have been working in the field of social work since 2008. I have experience as a Clinical Social Worker counseling adult and geriatric patients in long-term care settings as well as providing counseling to adults and couples at a mental health facility for the past two years. Prior to this, I worked as a Licensed Social Worker for over 14 years in a variety of roles in diverse environments including providing behavioral health counseling to clients in a recovery setting, coordinating care and handling case management as part of a medical health care team, and in the role of CPST (Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment) helping patients to monitor and reduce the severity of their symptoms.
