Dr. Smith is a 1965 graduate of the University of Missouri at Kansas City, School of Dentistry.
From 1965-1967 he provided dental care for members of all branches of the military and the American Seamen as a commissioned officer of the U S Public Health Service in Cleveland, Ohio. (24 months)
He owned and operated a general practice in Bartlesville, Oklahoma for the next 40+ years. He is comfortable and experienced in providing all dental services. (September 1967-June 2008)
Since 1985 his interests have led him to increase his …knowledge in TMD, craniofacial pain, snoring, sleep apnea and orthodontics for the treatment of TMD. He is now limiting his practice to the treatment of TMD, craniofacial pain, snoring, and sleep apnea.
Dr. Smith served on the Oklahoma Dental Board for six years. He is past president of Northern District of Oklahoma Dental Society, and Bi-State Dental Study Club. He has served the Oklahoma Dental Association as a member of the Board of Trustees, House of Delegates, District Journal Editor, and other positions. He is a member of the American, Arizona, and Oklahoma Dental Associations, Diplomate Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines, Arizona Sleep Society, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and the International Association for Orthodontics, charter member..
