Dr. William Robert Somers, MD

He refused to give me referral to dermatologist and insisted on doing it himself. After 2 years of refusing I went to another doctor who sent me to dermatologist who found multiple skin cancers. He is arrogant, incompetent, and 2 month long waiting periods to get appointment is unacceptable. Leaving him was the best thing I ever did for my health.

I have been going to dr somers for 17 years and have always had a great experience. I have referred multiple friends to him that have all been very pleases as well.

Dr. Somers is terrible! I have lupus and chronic kidney infections. He proceeded to tell me my back pain was from poor posture and sent me home with a kidney infection and no meds. I was back at the doctors the next day. He also flirted with my. He saw my son for chronic tummy pain and nausea. He did nothing. So I took my son to a specialist and he felt his tummy and immediately new he was constipated. Dr. Somers never even checked his tummy .

Sadly I started out really enjoying many things about dr somers, except his continual running late by 1-2 hours. I would have to say after sticking it out and giving it a chance, his bedside manners are absolutely terrible, he is ecocentric, and pushes his thoughts and personal beliefs on you as a patient. He crossed over boundaries in many ways a dr. should never and came off uncaring, thoughtless and rude. I felt worse walking out then I did walking in. He never considered my concerns on how I had been feeling he assumed it was made up, now left still feeling crummy I decided to leave and find a different dr. I would never recommend this dr. to anyone I know.

I was his patient for over 7 years, but noticed a pattern that he always was pushing drugs on me and almost always advising against any tests or procedures, even when other doctors (current one) felt it was needed. It turns out that he makes money by saving money for the insurance companies. This was further confirmed when he tried luring patients to his failed attempt for a VIP practice (with a payment of $5k-$10k per year and no insurance plans) couple of years ago. He is a weird guy and I would not recommend him to anyone.

Get ready to wait. According to the staff he always runs behind schedule. Don't rush to get there on time.

Great guy and wonderful doctor throughout pregnancies and deliveries. I like him alot. Highly recommend!

Told the guy pain symptoms I was having and he told me I was making them up. Never ever will I see this guy or recommend him to anyone.

Ok guy. I'm not real enthused about his patient interaction.

Dr. Somers is an egomaniac who always imposes his opinions on his patients, outting his beliefs before his patients'. He induced my labor 3 weeks before my due date so HE could go on vacation, which led to major complications resulting in my baby having to spend 10 days in neonatal icu due to sepsis and other issues. THis man should not be treating pregnancy in any way shape or form. His agenda always takes priorty over patient care.
