Dr. William Everett Starr, MD

When I was 7yrs old Dr. Star did an amazing job on the right side of my forehead. I fell forehead first off of bicycle. I was treated in the old Sainnt Johns Emergency room. I am 39yrs old and If he wouldn’t of don’t the surgery I would have been scarred for life. I have no scaring at all.

Doesn't actually see his patients. My 5-year-old daughter split her forehead open and got 14 stitches in the ER. I wanted to follow up with a specialist to make sure (1) she would have minimal scarring and (2) she had sustained no other damage that the ER doctor missed. At our appointment with Dr. Starr, we saw only his nurse. She was nice enough, but she missed what may be nerve damage. My daughter can't fully lift her affected brow. Presumably, the doctor would have caught this even though the nurse did not. So, now it's off to find a plastic surgeon who actually bothers to see his/her patients!

Dr. Starr treated my broken finger from an auto accident. His guidance for physical therapy at VCMC and follow up to make sure I was healing properly, assured a positive outcome.

Dr. William Starr is a TOTAL LIAR !!!. CAN NOT BE TRUSTED !!!.

I read some reviews and I'm shocked at what I'm hearing. I will say it sounds like a group of people got together to write bad reviews about Dr. Starr for personal reason. I'll admit I haven't seen him in years, however, I had a good experience with Dr. Starr. Not great but good. I had a mini tummy tuck/Abdominoplasty. I recall he didn't take enough skin off and he told me "You'll never look 20 again, after 3 children.". ugg. That was fine, I had turned 40 just prior to surgery. He got rid of my "butt tummy" which was fine. I don't remember him being rude or any of those other things people said, However, maybe now days he's crumpier. He & a nurse came to where I was staying 2 or 3 times to chk on me. The nurse was more personable, as nurses tend to be, then the Doc. Which was fine. As long as he did what I paid him for and he did, I don't mind that his bedside manner needed/needs wrk. Dr. Starr not wrking on people from Mexico sound ludicrous!! Don't believe anything read/hear… and only 1/2 of what you see.

We know William Starr VOTED for HIMSELF countless times for the "REPORTER " in Ventura County. He literally tried everything to get himself named # 1. He forced his office workers to do it.

What a really bad experience !. Dr. William Starr just "ran around" the office. (Talked to himself). I have never seen anything like this.

There is "something" very , very wrong @ this office of Dr. William E. Starr. I saw him - but I would never have any treatment there. I could hardly believe how the "co-worker's" acted - just like it was there last day.

DR. William Starr showed up late, was very rude and did not know the answer to any question I asked on 6-26-15 scheduled appointment. Office staff was disorganized and couldn't have cared less about a single patient in waiting room.

Dr. William Starr is disorganized and very forget- full. I had to "remind" him of what he just said. NO WAY would I ever/ever/ go back !. (REALLY BAD "doctor" and there is NO EXCUSE).
