this office is the worst! The woman who does scheduling is beyond rude and clueless. Doesn't listen to a word you say and makes it Impossible to talk to the doctor about concerns. Save your time and go somewhere else!

I recently had a weight loss procedure done by Dr William Steely, and I could NOT have been any more impressed! Starting with his office staff, they were awesome, and they made the whole process extremely smooth for me. They held my hands and guided me thru all of the steps that had to be completed in order to have the surgery done. Dr Steely’s bedside manner was nothing short of amazing! He was very understanding of my many questions and gave me all of the time that I needed to ask him questions. He answered me and explained to me in words that I understood, and he definitely made me feel at ease! I am extremely happy with the results that I achieved, and definitely recommend Dr. Steely for whatever surgery you may need. They whole experience was absolutely amazing and I was thanked for my business, which I have never been thanked for my business by any doctor!!! Highly, Highly recommended!!

Dr. Steely saved my life! When I met Dr. Steely I had several obesity related health conditions...I told him that I wanted to have the sleeve and after taking about my health and family history he agreed....his staff members are all amazing from the Coordinator Jennifer to my favorite nurse Judy...They gave me my life back...I had the gastric sleeve with no complications...Dr. Steely saved my life and has given me hope at a healthier future....I recommend him for your bariatric needs....he has compassion and over 33 years of experience...I was not afraid...I knew that I was in great hands....Thank you Dr. Steely....words can't express my sincere gratitude....

My husband and I have both had colonoscopies with Dr. Steely, and have had great outcomes. Also, my husband had a huge hiatal hernia, and Dr. Steely performed the surgery. Dr Steely had to make an incision because the hiatal hernia was lodged and had to have room to operate. My husband had wonderful results from the surgery and has not been sick one time since the surgery in Oct of 2016. We are VERY pleased with Dr. Steely. He has a great bedside manner and has a down-home style.

I was told I'd have laparoscopic surgery, yet I have an almost 2 inch incision. It looks jagged and not smooth, looks like cauliflower clumps. I was concerned that he didnt even schedule me for a follow up appointment, what surgeon does that!?!

I had Bariatric surgery in Mexico. I needed to follow-up with a dr here. I called and asked if they were taking new patients and the lady was cheerful and said "Yes we are. What is your issue". I told her and she immediately changed tone and said they were booked out a month. And she pretty much said go to Nashville. She asked what insurance I had, not who was going to pay. I don't think Dr. Steeley's staff was very professional.

Dr. Steely is one of the nicest and sweetest men will ever have the pleasure of meeting. A lot of doctors are hard to talk with and don't want to take the time to understand what is going on or even act as if they care. Dr. Steely will never presume to know what is wrong with you without sending you for test and if he doesn't get the answer he is looking for you will get more test. But, you can always be assured he is going be with you every step of the way, from figuring out the problem, having surgery (if needed) for the issue, and the healing process. He's been around a long time, he has the best skills of any surgeon I have even had the opportunity of having to deal with, not many doctors have any bedside manners or they have those of a rattlesnake, he will always answer you questions precisely, honestly and with kindness. He has a good heart and will treat you and your family with the upmost respect. While some doctors may get thick skinned to their patients and some even want to… close their hearts, this is one doc that will always be ready to listen with his head and his heart.
