Dr. William Thomas Stephenson, MD

My husband was treated by Dr. Stephenson when there was a turnover in Doctors at St. Al's in Boise, Idaho. Dr. Stephenson was brought on board in the middle of our cancer journey and before he even met with us he had reviewed all the paperwork, surgery reports, biopsies, etc, not a small feat in itself. We found him to be empathetic, yet realistic, which we liked. We didn't want to hear a unicorn-rainbow story. We wanted facts. He was experienced and did research for us. He was easy to talk with. He spent a lot of time with us, as much as we needed. He helped us come to decisions. I would highly recommend Dr. Stephenson.

I am 70 and have a child cured from cancer 18 years ago, so have interacted with many, many different doctors. Dr. Stephenson is one of the very best. I have had several appointments with him for my own care from an initial referral to a concluding diagnosis. His bedside manner is phenomenal; he is personable and highly informative. Dr Stephenson explained all medical concerns, each test result, and each procedure carefully and fully. I never felt rushed and he answered all my questions. He is moving to a new job and I will miss his high level of quality and care.

I have been to a lot of doctors in my life and this guy has to rate at the top of them. He gives the time you need, he covers what your symptoms indicate and is just over all a very friendly competent doctor.

The two times I saw Doctor Stephenson, he was very helpful and explained clearly my medical case. He listened to my concerns and worked with me to develop a treatment.

Dr Stephenson is Very thorough and kind. He doesn't rush to the next patient and treated me like a human being not a number.
