Dr. William D. Strickland, MD

I have read some of these reviews and I see some of the cantankerous people they get in here at this location. If you are a reasonable person needing medical help, Dr. Strickland is a knowledgeable and trustworthy person. Don't judge too harshly by the reviews and remember that Karens love to complain at everything.

I have been a patient for dr. Strickland for over a year. Within this year, as any new patient they're always expectations. I have found this practice to have incompetent office staff with high turnover so there is no way to create a rapport. As far as the skillset of Dr. Strickland I gave found it to be questionable. It's obvious to me got the office cares more about Revenue than it does its patients. ??

Dr. Strickland always listens and discusses everything with me ! He is caring and very thorough and his staff are wonderful. I am thankful I found him!!

I have enjoyed every visit I've had. No one wants to visit a doctor but when you do, you want to come away with a very good feeling that the doctor did the best he could. Hope he continues as my doctor. (100% satisfaction)

Dr. David Strickland and his staff are in experienced and insensitive to their patients needs. He decided to take me off of my anxiety medication, that I had been on for 20 years, without discussing my condition or any alternatives. I found out when it was time for a refill that he does not write prescriptions for my medication. I felt like he cared more about explaining his way of doing things than my needs as a patient.

After reading the previous reviews, I’m left wondering where those other appointments went wrong. Dr. William D. Strickland at Lexington Family Practice always makes me feel heard and never seems rushed to get to his next patient. I could ask him anything under the sun (and probably have) about my medical issues, and he would have a wealth of knowledge on how to treat it. I’m blessed to have Dr. Strickland as my general physician because he’s easy to talk to and seems to genuinely care about his practice. There is often a bit of a wait (i.e. it was over an hour before I saw him once). However, it is forgivable and makes perfect sense when I see how much attention he pays to every detail of my medical needs. He probably does the same thing for his other patients, and they’re lucky to have him too.

He doesn’t have any passion or care for his job! He put a medicine on me that I didn’t need, when I was just going in for a physical! Had to change doctors!

Please avoid this doctor if you need care.

Dr. Strickland is knowledgeable and professional and I feel well cared for as his patient.

Dr. William Strickland is, in my opinion, a liability to his profession and society.
