Beware! This doctor is not a good doctor. He gives up treatments, and his office mannerisms are unprofessional.

DO NOT GO SEE HIM....he asked 350$ per visit..not taking any insurance, this guy is a thief. And will prescribe medication without any test results. I was desperate to find a doc that could treat my parasite and he is not the one.

I saw him a few years ago. He prescribed Alinia before testing and later tried to convince me I had Lyme Disease although the test results did not confirm this. My impression is that he uses fear to make scary "diagnoses" that call for expensive drugs and possibly unnecessary treatments, including surgery. Strongly recommend against this person.

Although he was a little pricey and wouldn't work with my insurance company (he gave me the billing so I could deal with them), this was still certainly a doctor worth going to. I have been diagnosed with chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, "etc" from other unhelpful doctors whose work stopped with their diagnosis. I was refered to Dr. Stuppy by a close friend who had been a past patient and he gave me my health back by testing and treating me with labs and treatments that the other doctors were unaware of. I'm a very thankful patient.

This was the 5th GI I saw. He finally cracked the case after I all but almost gave up. The process was a bit lengthy between the labs he uses and acquiring the medication I needed but I can say that I finally am cured. I highly recommend him to anyone who has a GI disorder and is getting a general/typical diagnoses from their primary care MD or specialist.

A MD with impressive credentials, BUT his goal is to sell overpriced supplements and scientifically unproven hormonal balancing.You will first be found to have parasites, and then a god awful drug will be prescribed that you will take for 3 weeks and it will be total H-ll. (plus, it is very very expensive and good luck getting it covered by your insurance)After you get rid of your parasites, you will be sold all kinds of different "prescribed" supplements and "medical foods". These wont harm you, but they will financially drain you.Are you feeling depressed? You will be "prescribed" tryptophan based products that are very expensive.Have GERD, you will be recommended to have a "simple surgery" that has no proven long lasting effects.Be careful.

He prescribed a very expensive med for my son, and said he would help us get it (samples or?) and to let him know if we had trouble getting it through insurance. He charged upfront for the visit. When we had trouble getting meds, I called and he was RUDE, unprofessional and confrontational on the phone and hung up on me. AVOID spending a penny with this quack. He should be sued.

My wife went to see him about pain she was having. He wanted to proscribe her very expensive supplements in his office before offering a diagnosis. Additionally, he performed invasive tests (Lower GI and Colonoscopy), mis-represented the results, came up with a diagnosis of a syndrome (about which he is the ONLY doctor that seems to know) and wanted to do a radical and unproven surgery. Luckily, we were warned off him by other doctors and my wife was cured with simply having her gallbladder removed.

Missed the diagnosis, scared me about things that did not exist, prescribed a $1000 drug prior to getting test results. I have heard similar stories from others. I would strongly suggest staying away from this doctor.
