Dr. Suarez is what every doctor should strive to be. He spends time talking through your lifestyle and symptoms and how we can improve. It is extremely clear how much he cares for his patients.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Suarez for 4 years- after he diagnosed her with POTS. As I understand, there little support for this disease in the community, but Dr. Suarez has ALWAYS done an amazing job managing her health. Dr. Suarez spends so much time with my daughter at our visits- and he treats the whole body AND mind, considering her anxiety, sleep, diet, ADHD, among other things when he treats her. He isn’t just her Cardiologist- he truly treats her whole self. I believe there a few providers out there as thorough and thoughtful as Dr. Suarez- we are so lucky he cares for our daughter!

He has been my son's cardiologist for all 18 of his years, visiting him every other year has been a joy. He is thorough, supportive, detailed, approachable and available for any and other questions or clarifications. He has a wonderful patient approach and interacts well with kids of all ages. We would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who has children with cardiac issues of any level. We have been nothing but extremely pleased with the level of care that we have received over these 18 years. Cardiac issues are scary....he takes away a lot of the fear with his caring attitude toward his patients, AND toward his parents. He understands the fear and helps to alleviate it.

I live outside Chicago and drive roughly twice a year to see Dr. Suarez in Ohio. His knowledge along with his wonderful personality and caring bedside manner truly make traveling worth it! I first heard Dr. Suarez speak at a conference and his expertise in the field of Dysautonomia is apparent. In the past his office has been outstanding in accomodating me when my family accidentally arrived a week early -- I saw him that day and a particular teaching moment remains a fond memory of mine. Dr. Suarez is very attentive and compassionate in his understanding, truly listening to, and addressing my various concerns. I cannot imagine a better doctor.

As an adult congenital patient it is hard to find cardiologists that are both knowledgable about my condition and respectful and easy to talk to. Most pediatric cardiologist seem unable to communicate well with adult patients. I found Dr. Suarez to be a wonderful blend. He clearly cares about all of his patients, he isnt afraid or unwilling to get involved. He is very supportive, good and explaining things and so genuine you feel compelled to follow his recomendations.
