William Sutton, MD

I was referred to Sutton by an MD through Crossvilles ER for severe bleeding, they recommended I immediately receive an endo biopsy to see what was going on. This was a very scary time in my life!!!! The whole point of meeting with Sutton was to get that biopsy the ER suggested, and receive a PAP, (nurse present.) Sutton explained he's never done a biopsy in his career, doesn't recommend them as they're "outdated science." He discontinued my care thereafter, told me to find a fertility center "hours away." I still don't know why he stressed the "hours away" at me, when we have fertility specialists in Cookeville I just found and visited with today: Dr Gernt is amazing ladies she is a whole ray of sunshine. Anyways, long story short Suttons office doesn't believe or practice biopsy's, as well as supposedly LOST MY RECORD that I had EVER received a PAP. I actually feel violated over that. Sutton didn't offer any help, any ideas, was very cold toward me and I left the office in tears,… otherwise. So I had to have a second PAP through my new local MD. My new MD has provided me a transvaginal ultrasound, did the work that Sutton wouldn't go the extra mile to. Her name is Dr Sharon Neal in Robbins, if anyone needs an alternative female Dr. She is AMAZING too, another ray of sunshine!!! Both of my new female drs have found out so much for me, vs what Sutton missed. Always see a female Dr ladies!!!! This is why!!! I don't see how any woman would go to Sutton for her needs, or her baby's. Upsetting stuff.

He delivered all my children and has been my OB for 20 years. Personable, caring and intelligent

He pulled on my daughter's neck so hard during delivery that he paralyzed her arm for life.

i will never see him again!

Although he did not deliver my baby, he was the main Dr I saw for most of my visits. He was kind, courteous & always made sure my questions were answered. I really liked the way he would help you up from the table, with a growing belly it was sure hard to sit back up.

Dr sutton attended to my every need. He always had time for questions, stayed with me during most of my 2 hours of pushing (rather than showing up at the last second), and was great with reassurance and coaching.My favorite voss center doctor!

doesnt listen when asked questions states doesnt have time to answer that never returns phone calls make you wait for long spans of time while he is out in the hallway joking with the janitors
